We were warmly welcomed by the hosts and had a private tour of the stunning plantation, complete with an insightful overview of its history. the accommodation was authentic, well-preserved, and restored. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast and sat in front of the house in the evening, enjoying the varied night sounds and silence at the same time. This place is a true insider tip, with friendly and accommodating hosts, beautiful heritage, and lovely landscaped grounds.

There were some issues with the heat in our room during an unseasonably cold snap.
